Your Dashboard
Read the dashboard at a glance and know which page to open for each job.
Your dashboard is the first page you see when you sign in. It gives you a quick health check of your whole business. Both Client Admins and Client Staff use it.
To open it, click Dashboard at the top of the left menu.
Make it your first stop each morning. A quick look tells you if today is normal or needs attention. The Daily Routine guide builds a full day around it.
What is on your dashboard
- Two count tiles: your patient count (labeled Active patient records) and your team count.
- Alert cards. These are things that need your attention, like a payment that failed.
- A Users card to manage your team. Client Admins only.
- A Getting Started card with basic tips. It shows when you have no alerts.
Client Staff see the same counts and alerts. The Users card and other setup shortcuts are for Client Admins only.
Alert cards are your to-do list
Each alert card points at the patient or order it came from. Click a card to jump straight to the fix.
You may see a Payment needed card. It appears when a patient's payment did not go through. It shows the Order and Pharmacy it affects. Open the order and ask the patient to pay again. See Track Orders.
You may also see a medication pairing alert. It appears when one of your products is not linked to a medicine yet. Patients cannot buy that product until you link it. Fix this before you go live. See Pair Medications.
No alerts? Then you see a short Getting Started card with basic tips. The dashboard does not check off your launch steps for you. Use the Launch Checklist for that.
Which page for which job
The dashboard is a starting point. Open the right page to do the actual work.
| You need to… | Open |
|---|---|
| Get a quick health check | Dashboard |
| Look at a patient, order, visit, or prescription | The matching page: Patients, Orders, Visits, Prescriptions, Labs, Forms, or Messages |
| Change patient reminders (Client Admins) | Settings — see Patient Notifications |
| Ask for help or report a problem | Support — see Get Help |
What your patients see
Patients see each purchase as a set of steps. When a patient asks where their order is, open it and answer using these same words. In the steps below, a provider is a licensed doctor from your provider network. Providers review orders and prescribe medicine.
A medication order moves through these steps:
| Step | What it means |
|---|---|
| Ordered | The patient placed the order. |
| Paid | The patient's payment went through. |
| Evaluation | A provider is reviewing the patient's answers. |
| Approved | The provider approved the order. |
| Pharmacy | The pharmacy is preparing the medicine. |
| Shipped | The medicine is on its way. |
A lab order adds four more steps:
| Step | What it means |
|---|---|
| Collection | The patient gives a sample, such as blood. |
| Processing | The lab is testing the sample. |
| Results | The results are ready. |
| Reviewed | A provider has read the results. |
Words to know
| Word | What it means |
|---|---|
| Provider network | The medical team that employs the doctors who review your patients. You partner with one; you do not hire the doctors yourself. |
| Provider | A licensed clinician from the provider network who reviews patients and prescribes. |
Do staff and admins see the same dashboard?
The counts and alerts are the same.
- Client Admins also get setup shortcuts, like the Users card for managing the team.
- Client Staff do not see those shortcuts.
Why does my sidebar show fewer pages than a teammate's?
Your pages match your role.
- Settings, Billing, and Reports are for Client Admins only.
- See Who Does What for the full list of who sees what.
Can I fix things right from the dashboard?
No. The dashboard is for noticing, not fixing.
- Alert cards and shortcuts carry you to the page where the work happens.
- You make the change there, on Orders, Patients, or Settings.
The dashboard does not show my launch progress. Is that normal?
Yes, that is normal.
- The dashboard shows today's alerts, not a launch checklist.
- To track your setup steps, use the Launch Checklist guide.
