Knowledge Base
Organize training and reference material your team uses during care.
The Knowledge Base is your network's internal library — training, protocol background, and reference files used during care. Patients never see it. Everything from PDFs to videos lives in folders your team controls.
Open Knowledge BaseWhat belongs here
Knowledge Base holds files, folders, videos, images, PDFs, and text entries. Use it for clinical reference material, training, protocol background, and documents providers should acknowledge or use during care. Who can do this: Admins manage content; Providers browse (or edit with an explicit manager grant); Provider Delegates are read-only — see Roles & Permissions.

Organize your library
Create folders by workflow
Folders like Protocol Training, Prescribing, Lab Operations, and Patient Communication keep content findable.
Upload in batches
Bulk-upload related files, then confirm names, descriptions, and required status.
Mark required content carefully
Required entries can drive acknowledgment progress — reserve them for essential training.
Archive instead of deleting
Archiving stops the team using outdated documents and preserves history. Deleting is rarely right for clinical reference material.

Required content and acknowledgment
Marking an entry required does more than flag it: acknowledgment progress shows whether essential training and reference material reached your team. Keep the required set small so the signal stays meaningful.
Connect it to the catalog
Protocols can reference knowledge-base items, so background material sits next to the care it supports — see Create Protocols. Admins can also generate forms from files here.
Common questions
Can patients see knowledge-base content?
No. This library is scoped to your network's team. Patient-facing education belongs in the client or practice patient experience.
Sweep regularly: archive stale documents and re-check which entries still deserve the required flag. A smaller, current library beats a big stale one.
